HiFyve is hiring an NDT Technician/X-ray Radiographer in the Manufacturing industry in Jefferson County, WI!
Pay Rate: $27.81 - $41.71 per hour
Location: Jefferson County, WI
Shift: 3rd Shift (9pm - 5:30am) Sun - Thursday
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic inspections by selecting appropriate techniques and positioning materials for castings and welds.
- Process and analyze both traditional film and advanced digital radiographic images.
- Interpret inspection results to determine pass/fail status based on codes, standards, and specific customer requirements.
- Collaborate with Engineering to review new customer orders and determine the best NDT processing methods.
- Maintain radiographic equipment and inspection areas to ensure a safe and efficient workplace.
- Maintain accurate, detailed records of inspections and process logs as required by NDT methods.
- Actively participate in quality accreditation activities (e.g., NADCAP).
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required (Post-secondary education in NDT or a technical field preferred).

Certification: RT Level II certification (per SNT-TC-1A, NAS-410, or Navsea Tech Pub. 010/271) is desired.

Open to Training: Highly motivated candidates without NDT experience are encouraged to apply if they have a strong foundation in math, physics, and chemistry.

Testing: Certification requires passing written, practical, and visual acuity (near vision) examinations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Digital Expertise: Experience with DDA (Digital Detector Array) or CR (Computed Radiography) protocols is highly desirable.

Technical Growth: Desire to gain cross-certification in additional techniques like Fluorescent Penetrant (FPI) or Magnetic Particle (MPI) inspection.

Software: Ability to learn advanced imaging software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs.
