HiFyve is hiring an Analytical Chemist in the manufacturing technology industry in Kettering, OH! 

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000

Shift: Monday - Friday, Day Shift

Location: Kettering, OH

Position Overview:

Join an innovative, fast-growing technology company working at the forefront of advanced materials and battery development. This is a hands-on lab role where you’ll operate cutting-edge analytical equipment, support R&D efforts, and play a direct role in developing next-generation materials. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation (ICP-OES, FTIR, XRD, SEM/EDS, Raman, UV-Vis, etc.)
• Perform material testing, data collection, and analysis
• Follow and help develop SOPs and lab protocols
• Support research projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Maintain lab organization, safety, and equipment performance



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Hands-on experience with analytical lab instrumentation
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of materials characterization techniques
• Ability to follow structured processes and work independently
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, or related field
• 2–4 years of hands-on laboratory experience
