HiFyve is hiring a Senior Toolmaker in the Manufacturing industry in Conroe, TX!

Salary: $41/hr + Quarterly Bonus

Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM (8-hour shifts)

Location: Conroe, TX

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Train qualified trainees in the safe and proper use of equipment, including EDM (Sinker, Wire, Hole Popper), Machining (Machining Center, Hard Mill, Bridgeport milling machines), and Grinding (manual grinders).
• Prepare molds for production by assembling and maintaining plastic injection molds and components.
• Read, interpret, and analyze blueprints to determine required machine operations and finishing requirements.
• Inspect tools for defects and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet production goals and quality standards.
• Select and utilize the correct shop equipment, precision measurement devices, and other tools necessary for each task.
• Perform precision machining work to exacting tolerances and dimensions.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and best practices in the machine shop environment.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience operating and training others on EDM, Machining, and Grinding equipment.
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Ability to diagnose and repair tooling defects.
• Proficiency in precision measurement tools and machining techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with industry standards.
