HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Technician II in the industrial services industry in St. Charles, MO!

Salary: Up to $35/hour

Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (occasional overtime)

Location: St. Charles, MO

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot a variety of industrial equipment, systems, and components.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Conduct welding activities such as MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing as needed.
• Perform boiler chemical testing and make necessary chemistry adjustments.
• Identify, evaluate, and monitor work performed by internal teams and external service providers.
• Resolve safety concerns and ensure compliance with workplace safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and manage inventory of supplies.
• Respond to emergency alarms and perform necessary repairs promptly.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior maintenance technicians.

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a manufacturing, production, or military environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and maintenance literature in English.
• Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of boilers and HVAC systems preferred.
• Ability to perform various welding activities.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours per 8-hour shift.
