HiFyve is hiring a Machine Shop Supervisor in the manufacturing industry in Riverside, MO!

Salary: $40–$48 per hour (depending on experience)

Shift: Day Shift

Location: Riverside, MO

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the machine shop, ensuring efficient production and quality output.
• Assign daily tasks and priorities to machinists and machine shop assistants.
• Operate machines when needed due to absences or workload demands.
• Work with tight tolerances of +/- .001 and higher.
• Monitor workflow and machine activity to maintain productivity.
• Assist with part setup planning and machining process improvements.
• Collaborate with Quality Control for in-process inspections.
• Work with Maintenance to ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is performed.
• Mentor and train machinists and machine shop assistants.
• 
  
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure shop priorities are met.

Education Requirements

• No specific education requirement listed, but proven experience in a machine shop leadership role is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proven experience in a machine shop environment with supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
• Ability to run machines as needed.
• Strong understanding of blueprints, GD&T, and tight tolerances.
• Mathematical aptitude for precise machining work.
• Experience with FANUC controls and horizontal boring mills.
• Knowledge of G-Code & MasterCAM programming.
• Large part setup experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively direct and support shop personnel.
• A U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident of the U.S.
