HiFyve is hiring a Controls Engineer in the automotive manufacturing industry in Cleveland, OH (Lorain County)!

Salary: $90,000 – $100,000/year

Shift: Day Shift

Location: Cleveland, OH (Lorain County)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, robotics, and automated systems
• Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance programs
• Support facility equipment (boilers, generators, compressors, etc.)
• Track maintenance KPIs and document PMs for audits
• Assist with ISO/IATF compliance and documentation
• Supervise and train maintenance staff as needed
• Ensure safety and NFPA 70 compliance
• Coordinate contractor work and support improvement initiatives

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 5+ years in maintenance within manufacturing
• Proficient in PLCs, VFDs, and control systems
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Familiar with ISO/IATF standards and safety practices
• Able to train staff and manage technical documentation
