HiFyve is hiring a Process Engineer!
Salary: $65K - $85K/annually
Shift: Day Shift (6am-3pm)
Location: Marinette County, WI
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity
- Identify process inefficiencies and quality gaps, then develop structured improvement plans with measurable results
- Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, SMED, TPM, and value stream mapping initiatives
- Partner with production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and engineering teams to implement process improvements
- Lead multiple projects simultaneously from concept through implementation, managing scope, timelines, budgets, and risks
- Develop project plans, milestone tracking, and stakeholder communication updates
- Support CapEx projects involving new equipment, tooling, automation, and facility improvements
- Work directly with vendors and contractors to obtain quotes, coordinate services, and support implementation activities
- Develop and deliver process training for operators, technicians, and production personnel
- Create and improve visual work instructions, SOPs, and manufacturing documentation
- Analyze production data and metrics to drive operational decision-making and performance improvements
- Act as a change agent by influencing teams and driving sustainable operational improvements
- Mentor team members on continuous improvement methodologies and problem-solving tools
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and customer specifications across all manufacturing processes
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment required
- Metal machining, CNC machining, or automotive component manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies required
- Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred
- Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects
- Strong project management experience including scope, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis
- ERP system experience required; SAP experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work on the manufacturing floor for extended periods as needed
- Comfortable working in an industrial environment with PPE requirements
