Pay: $20 – $35/hour (depending on experience)

Shift: 2nd Shift (must train on 1st shift for several months)

About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator / Machinist to support production of precision aerospace shafts, gear components, and assemblies. This role involves setting up and operating 3-axis and 4-axis CNC mills, verifying part quality, and maintaining machine performance in a high-precision environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot 3-axis and 4-axis CNC milling machines
• Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings; select tooling, speeds, and feeds
• Perform first-piece inspections, document results, and adjust programs as required
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance (lubrication, tool changes, fixture cleaning)
• Monitor production quality, scrap rates, and escalate issues when necessary
• Follow AS9100/ISO 9001 quality standards and maintain a clean, safe work area
• Collaborate with process engineering to support continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC milling experience in a precision or aerospace manufacturing environment preferred
• Proficient with precision tolerances, tooling, and measurement instruments
• Ability to train on 1st shift and transition to 2nd shift; available for overtime as needed
