HiFyve is hiring a Project Engineer in the manufacturing industry in St. Louis, MO!


Salary: $100,000 - $110,000

Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Location: St. Louis, MO


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the profit and loss (P/L) for assigned projects, ensuring profitability and growth for both the company and its customers.
  • Support sales staff during the estimating process to ensure accurate pricing and maximize profitability.
  • Act as the primary quality contact and facilitator for each component sold, ensuring customer expectations are met during project start-up.
  • Oversee the purchasing of materials, production scheduling, inventory control, and all related warehouse functions.
  • Serve as the internal “voice of the customer,” managing ISO/TS documentation and coordinating cross-departmental efforts to meet project goals.
  • Launch new projects by interacting with Sales, Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to ensure accurate quoting, routing, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain and manage blueprints, sales master files, pricing history, and quality requirements for new projects.
  • Coordinate staff efficiently to support company and project management objectives.
  • Ensure the timely, profitable, and quality production of parts.


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with the principles and practices of Sales, Marketing, and Project Management.
  • Ability to read and understand component drawings and tolerance schemes.
  • General knowledge of tubular steel part production is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including spreadsheets and numerical data analysis.
  • CAD experience is a plus.
