HiFyve is hiring a Sr. Manager of Engineering/Maintenance in the Food & Beverage industry in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro Area!


Salary: $150K - $180K+ (based on experience)

Shift: Full-time, Day Shift

Location: Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro Area


Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee all engineering functions, including process, automation, and capital project design and execution.
  • Lead and manage maintenance operations, emphasizing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
  • Manage, support, and mentor teams of engineers and facilities/utilities mechanics, ensuring optimal team performance.
  • Design and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Provide technical guidance for plant automation systems and ensure system reliability.
  • Oversee plant equipment, utilities, and critical systems (boilers, chillers, ammonia, compressed air, etc.).
  • Establish and maintain a CMMS for tracking work orders, equipment history, and spare parts.
  • Ensure equipment availability by minimizing unplanned downtime and resolving operational issues.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance energy efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Enforce safety, health, and environmental policies while driving compliance and incident prevention.


Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (Req.)


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • 7+ yrs of experience in an engineering role and 2+ yrs in a supervisory position (5+ yrs preferred).
  • Beverage and aseptic processing experience highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with GMPs and CI processes.
  • Experience with capital project mgmt and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and AutoCAD.
  • Strong knowledge of union environments, safety protocols, and workers' comp processes (preferred).
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal comm skills.
