HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Technician in the Industrial Services industry in Kansas City, MO!

Salary: $28-30 per hour

Shift: Monday–Friday 1:30-10 PM

Location: Kansas City, MO

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot industrial equipment, including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on facility systems and machinery
• Conduct welding activities, including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing
• Perform boiler chemical testing and make necessary adjustments
• Respond promptly to emergency alarms and equipment malfunctions
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and manage inventory of supplies
• Inspect and monitor work performed by internal staff and outside contractors
• Address and resolve safety concerns to ensure a secure work environment

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Minimum 2 years’ experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial or military setting
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and blueprints in English
• Boiler operation knowledge preferred
• HVAC experience preferred
• Welding experience (MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, brazing) preferred
