HiFyve is hiring a Parts Counter Associate in the Heavy Equipment industry in Indianapolis, IN!

Salary: $24–$28/hour

Shift: Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with identifying parts needs in person and over the phone
• Identify correct parts numbers, check availability, and recommend solutions to customers
• Process and edit customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely entry into the system
• Expedite backorders with branches and manufacturers and communicate order status updates
• Assist warehouse and shop teams with parts requests and inventory needs
• Maintain parts counter library and participate in ongoing factory training
• Reconcile purchase orders with invoices and support administrative functions as needed
• Contribute to monthly parts meetings and support team initiatives
• Operate forklift as needed to pick and pack parts

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (required)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Previous experience with vehicles or heavy equipment (preferred)
• Familiarity with parts terminology and inventory systems
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Customer service-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
• Basic computer and data entry proficiency
• Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts
