Location: Sheboygan County, Wisconsin

Job Summary:

Join a respected food manufacturing leader committed to operational excellence and employee safety. We’re seeking an experienced EHS Manager to oversee environmental, health, and safety programs at our Sheboygan County, WI plant. This role will later expand to include two smaller facilities, offering long-term growth and leadership visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations
• Lead safety programs focused on Lockout/Tagout, combustible dust, and permit-required confined spaces (PRCS)
• Conduct inspections, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions
• Develop and deliver safety training, onboarding, and awareness programs
• Support industrial hygiene initiatives including air, noise, and dust monitoring
• Manage workers’ compensation cases and return-to-work processes
• Serve as primary contact for local agencies including fire, police, and WDNR

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field is highly preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• 5–7 years of EHS leadership in a manufacturing environment
• Strong expertise in OSHA safety compliance and workplace hazard prevention
• Specific knowledge in Lockout/Tagout, combustible dust, and PRCS required
• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Environmental Science, Safety, or related field
• ASP, CSP, or other certifications preferred
• Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills
• Willingness to expand scope to additional facilities in the near future
