Salary: $23.00–$29.00/hour + 3% Bonus

Shift: Days | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM or 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (30-minute lunch)

Location: Wichita, KS

About the Role

This role is responsible for managing inbound and outbound bulk material operations, maintaining tank farm inventory accuracy, coordinating railcar and tank truck logistics, and ensuring the safe, efficient flow of raw materials and finished products to support manufacturing operations.


Job Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and verify bulk raw materials delivered by railcar and tank truck

• Coordinate inbound material schedules with Procurement and Manufacturing teams

• Manage railcar activity through the BNSF portal, including placement requests and timely releases

• Coordinate laboratory sample approvals prior to unloading materials

• Process inventory transactions and maintain accurate bulk material records

• Lead outbound bulk loading operations for customer tank truck shipments

• Prepare shipping documentation and validate customer orders prior to shipment

• Monitor tank farm inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records

• Enforce FIFO inventory practices and support physical inventory counts

• Coordinate with Production Scheduling, Logistics, Procurement, and Quality teams to ensure material availability

• Perform routine inspections of tanks, valves, piping, hoses, and loading/unloading equipment

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely

• Support warehouse operations as needed

• Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and operating procedures


Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required

• 5+ years of manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, or bulk material handling experience preferred

• 2+ years of experience with liquid bulk transportation, DOT regulations, shipping documentation, or scheduling preferred

• DOT shipping exposure or liquid handling/ Hazmat/Hazwoper spill exposure

• Experience operating forklifts in an industrial environment

• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP or warehouse management system experience preferred (SAGE and Pacejet a plus)

• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

• DOT Hazmat Awareness and OSHA HAZWOPER certifications are a plus
