HiFyve is hiring a Controls Technician in the food/beverage manufacturing industry in St. Paul, MN!

Salary: $35-$40/hr

Shift: 6pm - 6am, Sun-Tues + alternating Saturdays

Location: St. Paul, MN

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure all equipment operates effectively and efficiently

• Provide technical expertise to plant operations

• Assist the Maintenance team in their technical development

• Perform maintenance and repair services in multiple crafts

• Operate equipment as needed

• Lead and support continuous improvement projects

• Work on assignments determined by the leadership team to ensure team success

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Minimum 7-10 years of industrial maintenance electrical experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, AC/DC drive systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, machining, and fabrication

• Proficiency with multi-meters, circuit testers, power tools, micrometers, calipers, and other hand tools

• Strong math skills

• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics

• Problem-solving skills and teamwork ability

• Adaptability to emerging technologies

• Project initiation, management, and leadership skills

• Available for 24/7 plant support as needed

• Experience in advanced PLC, VFD, and Servo programming and troubleshooting

• Proficiency in HMI programming and troubleshooting (e.g., RSView, Wonderware, PanelView)

• Electrical code knowledge and network diagnostics troubleshooting

• Ability to use ACAD software
