HiFyve is hiring a CNC Machinist in the Manufacturing industry in the Milwaukee, WI area!

Pay Rate: $30/hr - $36/hr+ (Based on experience)

Shift: 2nd Shift (Flexible start: 2:30pm - 4:00pm) or 3rd Shift (10pm-6:30am)

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform full setups and offsets independently to ensure high-precision production of complex parts.
• Operate both CNC lathes and machining centers to meet production goals and quality standards.
• Execute machining processes for large-scale parts, including components reaching up to 80" in size.
• Monitor machine performance and make real-time program edits or adjustments to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
• Conduct routine quality inspections using precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and blueprints.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all shop safety protocols and lean manufacturing principles.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a CNC machining environment is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience handling large-part machining is highly desirable.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to perform setups, tool changes, and offsets without supervision.
• Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and editing G-code/M-code programs.
• Skilled in operating both lathes and machining centers.
• Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and schematics.
• Willingness to work overtime on off-shifts as needed to support production demands.
