HiFyve is hiring an EHS Manager in the Food and Beverage Manufacturing industry in the Greater Bay Area, CA!


This is a strategic, high-impact role perfect for a mid-to-senior level safety professional who thrives on driving cultural change. You will move beyond simple program maintenance to lead turnaround initiatives for a large-scale production facility, serving as the primary architect for a safer, more compliant workplace.


Pay Rate: $115,000 - $146,400 base + 20% Annual Target Bonus

Shift: 1st Shift (with flexibility for off-shift incidents/visibility)

Location: Bay Area, CA (100% Onsite)


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all health, safety, and environmental activities for a 24/7 manufacturing plant, acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for facility leadership.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and implement strategic initiatives to reduce workplace injuries and incidents in a high-challenge environment.
  • Implement and certify the effectiveness of company EHS programs through ISO audits, gap assessments, and the development of robust corrective action plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments (environmental, safety, and regulatory) and manage compliance programs for wastewater, storm water, RCRA, OSHA, and DOT.
  • Gather and analyze EHS data to develop goals, manage safety scorecards, and maintain real-time dashboards for plant performance metrics.
  • Serve as a key member of the facility’s crisis management team, directing efforts during serious incidents and coordinating communication with regulatory agencies like the EPA and OSHA.


Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, or a related field (or High School Diploma with 9+ years of equivalent experience).
  • Strong background in both Environmental and Safety regulations; previous exposure to ISO audits is essential.
  • Experience in Food & Beverage is a significant plus.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical data to non-technical audiences and a "change-agent" mentality to drive safety performance.
