HiFyve is hiring for Production Operators!

Shift: 5 PM–5 AM or 5 AM- 5 PM 223 schedule

Pay: $23.00 – $24.50 per hour

Location: Allentown, PA

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery such as fillers, labelers, packaging equipment, cappers, and palletizers used in bottling.
• Perform basic machine operations including stacking raw materials, handling finished product cases, and making minor machine adjustments.
• Monitor the flow of outgoing finished goods and correct any disturbances in product flow.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure package and product quality standards are met.
• Clean equipment and production lines throughout the shift and maintain a clean work area.
• Work with maintenance as needed to expedite repairs and minimize downtime.
• Keep daily records of downtime and machine operations.
• Follow all established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Support food safety and quality programs including HACCP/SQF, security, chemical handling, cleaning and sanitation, and associated standard operating procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager and according to business needs.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Some manufacturing experience preferred
• Basic math skills required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to operate manufacturing equipment in an efficient and safe manner
• Ability to perform routine quality inspections and minor machine adjustments
• Knowledge of GMPs, sanitation standards, and FDA requirements is helpful
• Ability to stand for extended periods during 12-hour shifts
• Good organizational skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed
