HiFyve is hiring a Quality Assurance Technician in the food manufacturing industry in Minneapolis, MN!

Salary: $25-$27/hour

Shift: 2nd Shift

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor and document compliance with food safety and quality standards throughout production.
• Conduct plant inspections and perform process checks (e.g., pH, brix, metal detectors).
• Calibrate instruments including pH meters, scales, and thermometers.
• Verify product specifications and ensure adherence to SOPs.
• Assist with documenting daily production information.
• Support the production department with quality assurance needs.
• Promote and enforce company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

• Experience in the food manufacturing industry preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Familiarity with critical control points and OSHA safety standards.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Energetic, flexible, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
