GRINDER (CYLINDRICAL/SURFACE) - 2ND SHIFT

Trevose, PA (Philadelphia metro, Bucks County) | Full-time, direct hire

Schedule: 2nd Shift, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM | 10% shift differential

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00/hour depending on experience, plus 10% 2nd shift differential

A precision tool and die shop that designs and builds high-performance metal forming and finishing machinery for the packaging industry is adding a Cylindrical/Surface Grinder on 2nd shift at its Trevose, PA facility. Good grinders are hard to find, and this shop values the craft. It is part of a large global manufacturer, so you get the stability of a major company with the feel of a skilled, close-knit tool room.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Operate manual and CNC cylindrical and surface grinders safely and efficiently
• Grind tool and die components to print and tight tolerances
• Use precision measuring equipment to verify the accuracy of your work
• Inspect finished parts to ensure dimensional requirements and customer satisfaction are met
• Work as part of a collaborative, team-based tool room

WHAT YOU NEED

• Hands-on experience operating both manual and CNC grinders (cylindrical and surface)
• Proficiency with micrometers, indicators and related precision measuring equipment
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for a team environment
