Job Responsibilities:


  • Meet production forecasts and achieve company goals.
  • Manage the production floor operations.
  • Coordinate with Batch Makers and the Canning Line Supervisor for correct product scheduling, packaging, and palletizing.
  • Take product samples during canning and ensure cleanliness.
  • Maintain proper production flow and timely tank turnover.
  • Ensure labeling meets canning line needs and coordinate with marketing for label generation.
  • Organize relabeling and special packaging tasks.
  • Resolve employee and departmental discrepancies.
  • Schedule weekend work and miscellaneous tasks.
  • Manage inventory of raw materials and janitorial supplies.
  • Coordinate raw material orders with Director of Ops, COO, and procurement coordinator.
  • Oversee offloading bulk trucks of solvents, resins, and emulsions.
  • Maintain inventory of containers and packaging materials.
  • Manage waste generation and coordinate disposal with lab and COO.
  • Conduct semi-annual and weekly inventory cycle counts.
  • Coordinate with QC for timely product turnaround and assist with simple QC tests.
  • Work with chemists on batch issues and last-minute formula adjustments.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Manager on batch tickets and scheduling.
  • Ensure accuracy of production batch tickets and correct lot/batch numbers.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and canning line supervisor for timely product delivery.
  • Work with HR on hiring processes.
  • Collaborate with sales, supply chain, and maintenance departments for production prioritization, equipment maintenance, and customer communication.


Qualifications:


  • 5+ years  of experience of industrial work experience in a manufacturing environment required 
  • Experience in a chemical environment, with a background in architectural and/or industrial coatings highly preferred.

  • Ability to work well across functions, cultures, customers, and management
