HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in the beverage manufacturing industry!

Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 5 PM – 5 AM, 2-2-3 rotation

Pay: $30-40+/hr

Location: Seguin, TX

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production machinery, including fillers, packaging lines, cappers, labelers, palletizers, and blow mold machinery.
• Lead changeover processes and preventative maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs to production equipment as needed, including checking fuses, verifying motor rotation, and performing 480-volt electrical work.
• Perform basic cleaning and upkeep of machinery to ensure operational efficiency.
• Assist in training new employees and lead by example in GMP and safety compliance.
• Carry tools and radio at all times to remain fully accessible during shifts.
• Ensure high-quality product output through constant observation and routine inspections.
• Report all emergencies, injuries, and production incidents immediately to the shift supervisor.
• Follow all safety policies and enforce GMP regulations, including required PPE and standard operating procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 2–3 years previous maintenance experience preferred
• Forklift experience and certification a plus
• Computer experience required, strong Excel knowledge preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills, including electrical troubleshooting for 480-volt systems
• Ability to check fuses, verify motor rotation, and perform advanced equipment diagnostics
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics
• Basic math skills required
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for team collaboration
• Ability to walk, climb, and work in a physically demanding environment
• Knowledge of GMP rules and food safety practices
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed
