HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in the Beverage Manufacturing Industry!

Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 5 PM – 5 AM (2-2-3 rotation)

Pay: $30–40+/hr

Location: Seguin, TX

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production machinery, including fillers, packaging lines, cappers, labelers, palletizers, and blow mold machinery
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on bottling equipment, including Krones machines
• Lead changeover processes and preventative maintenance activities
• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including checking fuses, verifying motor rotation, and performing 480-volt electrical work
• Conduct routine cleaning and upkeep of machinery to ensure operational efficiency
• Assist in training new employees and lead by example in GMP and safety compliance
• Carry tools and a radio at all times to remain accessible during shifts
• Ensure high-quality product output through constant observation and routine inspections
• Report emergencies, injuries, and production incidents immediately to the shift supervisor
• Follow all safety policies and enforce GMP regulations, including PPE and SOPs
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2–3 years of previous maintenance experience preferred
• Forklift experience and certification a plus
• Computer experience required; strong Excel skills preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills, including 480-volt electrical systems
• Proven experience in bottling operations and working with Krones equipment required
• Ability to check fuses, verify motor rotation, and perform advanced diagnostics
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics
• Basic math skills
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (walking, climbing, lifting)
• Knowledge of GMP and food safety standards
• Flexibility to work varying schedules as needed
