Location: Norfolk, NE

Position Overview:

We’re hiring a Facility Controller to serve as the financial lead for a manufacturing plant in Norfolk, NE. This role partners closely with the Plant Manager and works remotely with Corporate Finance, owning the plant P&L, financial reporting, and cost analysis for site operations. You’ll be the sole finance presence onsite, making this a highly visible and impactful role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the full P&L for the Norfolk facility
• Partner with the Plant Manager on budgets, forecasts, and financial decision-making
• Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and yield performance
• Track capital spending and monitor budget vs. actuals
• Oversee inventory, MRO, and production-related financial controls
• Support monthly business reviews with clear, data-driven insights
• Serve as the onsite finance point of contact while collaborating with corporate finance remotely
• Manage office/administrative staff at the facility

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Manufacturing finance experience with direct P&L ownership
• Strong ERP experience and advanced Excel skills
• Comfortable being onsite 5 days per week
• Experience working independently as the primary finance lead at a site
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate numbers into operational insight
• Food, dairy, or process manufacturing background (Preferred)
• Experience supporting plant leadership and CI / cost improvement initiatives (Preferred)
