Salary: $26–$30/hr + travel bonuses + profit sharing

Shift: Days (21 days traveling, 7 days home rotation)

About the Role

This role installs and supports PLC-based control systems for large technical projects across multiple sites. The PLC Technician travels extensively to assist with system installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Job Responsibilities

• Install and support PLC-based automation and control systems at project sites
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Assist with installation of control panels, field devices, and system components
• Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues during installation and startup
• Support system testing, commissioning, and operational verification
• Maintain project documentation including time tracking and expense reporting
• Work with project teams to ensure installations meet project specifications and timelines
• Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements
• Travel extensively to support installations and project work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience with electrical systems, controls equipment, or PLC-based systems preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• OSHA 10, CPR/First Aid/AED, and safety certifications preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain required driving standards
