Salary: $28-32

Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM rotating shift

Location: Johnson County

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on production and packaging equipment

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

• Inspect machinery to diagnose issues and identify necessary repairs

• Disassemble and reassemble equipment using hand and power tools

• Replace worn or defective components using blueprints and technical manuals

• Perform welding tasks related to machinery repair

• Support predictive maintenance efforts (oil/water analysis, vibration testing, infrared scans)

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment logs

• Ensure all equipment operates efficiently to minimize downtime

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

• Assist with continuous improvement and preventative maintenance programs

• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts (with certification)

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Technical or vocational training preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting

• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills

• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals

• Welding experience preferred

• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Must have own tools

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and overtime as needed
