HiFyve is hiring a Production Supervisor in the Food Manufacturing industry in Minneapolis, MN!

Salary: $80,000/year

Shift: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and alternating Sundays)

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee production processes to ensure equipment operates efficiently and is properly cleaned and sanitized. Coordinate timely repairs for equipment failures.
• Promote a culture of safety, enforce safety rules, and conduct accident investigations to ensure rapid reporting and resolution.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality regulations by administering company policies, procedures, and food safety programs.
• Manage production schedules to meet customer demand, productivity targets, and production deadlines. Ensure materials and ingredients are prepared for production runs.
• Foster positive working relationships with team members, resolve employee grievances, and ensure fair and consistent application of policies and work rules.
• Supervise team activities such as performance evaluations, training, coaching, employee promotions, and timekeeping.
• Uphold company standards for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and sanitation requirements.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Bachelor's degree (preferred)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Minimum of 3+ years of food manufacturing experience, with at least 1+ year in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred).
• Strong knowledge of continuous improvement models and production efficiency practices.
• Effective leadership and team-building skills to foster positive work relationships.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
