HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Manager in the manufacturing industry!
Shift: Day shift M-F
Pay: Up to $115,000 (based on experience)
Location: Riverside, MO
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians to meet plant goals in safety, quality, training, productivity, and cost control
- Direct and coordinate maintenance operations for machinery, building structures, and facility grounds
- Oversee repairs and maintenance of production equipment including debagging systems, tray packaging systems, fillers, labelers, palletizers, and conveyors
- Ensure compliance with GMPs, sanitation standards, FDA, and SQF requirements
- Manage preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems to support equipment reliability
- Inspect completed maintenance work to ensure conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards
- Conduct and oversee lockout/tagout and arc flash training and participate in accident investigations
- Establish and adjust work procedures to meet production schedules and coordinate staffing needs
- Recommend equipment or process changes to improve efficiency and productivity
- Support hiring, interviewing, training, development, and disciplinary actions for maintenance staff
- Review payroll, timesheets, and participate in budgeting and financial performance reviews
- Manage departmental budgets and participate in financial reporting and planning discussions
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience required
- 2+ years in beverage, food, or liquid consumer products manufacturing preferred
- 3+ years of supervisory or management experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of CMMS systems and maintenance processes
- Experience with GMPs, sanitation standards, FDA, and SQF compliance
- Familiarity with production equipment such as fillers, labelers, palletizers, conveyors, and packaging systems (Krones experience a plus)
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across shifts
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Financial understanding to support budgeting and cost control
- Ability to evaluate processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence
