HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Manager in the manufacturing industry!

Shift: Day shift M-F

Pay: Up to $115,000 (based on experience)

Location: Riverside, MO

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians to meet plant goals in safety, quality, training, productivity, and cost control
  • Direct and coordinate maintenance operations for machinery, building structures, and facility grounds
  • Oversee repairs and maintenance of production equipment including debagging systems, tray packaging systems, fillers, labelers, palletizers, and conveyors
  • Ensure compliance with GMPs, sanitation standards, FDA, and SQF requirements
  • Manage preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems to support equipment reliability
  • Inspect completed maintenance work to ensure conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards
  • Conduct and oversee lockout/tagout and arc flash training and participate in accident investigations
  • Establish and adjust work procedures to meet production schedules and coordinate staffing needs
  • Recommend equipment or process changes to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Support hiring, interviewing, training, development, and disciplinary actions for maintenance staff
  • Review payroll, timesheets, and participate in budgeting and financial performance reviews
  • Manage departmental budgets and participate in financial reporting and planning discussions

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience required
  • 2+ years in beverage, food, or liquid consumer products manufacturing preferred
  • 3+ years of supervisory or management experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of CMMS systems and maintenance processes
  • Experience with GMPs, sanitation standards, FDA, and SQF compliance
  • Familiarity with production equipment such as fillers, labelers, palletizers, conveyors, and packaging systems (Krones experience a plus)
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across shifts
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Financial understanding to support budgeting and cost control
  • Ability to evaluate processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence
