HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in a facilities environment in St. Paul, MN!

Salary: $24.50-27.40/hr

Shift: 1st Shift 8:00am to 4:30pm (On-Call Rotation)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform general mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance on building systems

Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete warranty repairs as needed

Perform preventive maintenance on facility systems and equipment

Maintain preventive maintenance logs and required documentation

Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies

Assist with ordering parts and supplies for maintenance schedules

Respond to facility calls, alarms, and on-call maintenance needs when scheduled

Maintain building automation, fire, security, and energy management systems

Ensure facilities are safe, clean, and functional

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required

3–5 years of building and grounds maintenance experience required

Special Class C boiler’s license (or higher) required

Valid driver’s license required

Ability to meet background and driving requirements

Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs frequently

Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems preferred

Physical Capabilities:

Ability to perform heavy physical work including lifting and moving equipment

Ability to work in mechanical rooms, on ladders, and around facility systems

Ability to respond to occasional on-call maintenance needs

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills

Ability to read and complete work orders and maintenance logs

Understanding of preventive maintenance practices

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to work independently and with a team

Focus on safety and reliability
