HiFyve is hiring a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician in the Food industry!

Salary: $28–31/hr

Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday–Friday

Location: Fenton, MO

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated production and packaging equipment, including X-ray detectors, filling machines, and conveyor systems.
• Support production line changeovers and ensure minimal downtime.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maintain equipment reliability.
• Assist in mechanical and electrical diagnostics and repairs on production equipment.
• Work closely with Operations to address technical issues and improve line efficiency.
• Maintain maintenance records and manage inventory of maintenance supplies.
• Support onboarding and training of less experienced team members.
• Adhere to all food safety and quality standards, including handling of allergens.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical or vocational training in mechanical or electrical maintenance preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Required:

• 2+ years of experience in maintenance of production or packaging equipment, preferably in a food environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and maintenance documentation.
• Comfortable working hands-on with automated equipment.
• Ability to work a full 8-hour shift, including standing and moving for extended periods.

Preferred:

• Experience in conveyor systems, sensors, and automated packaging lines.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
• Welding or fabrication skills.
• Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance processes.
