HiFyve is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer!


Salary: $65K - $90K+/annually (depending on experience)

Shift: Day Shift (6am - 3pm)

Location: Marinette County, WI


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support and improve manufacturing processes for precision machined components in a heavy industrial environment
  • Develop and optimize CNC machining, assembly, and production processes to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput
  • Analyze production workflows and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and waste
  • Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve manufacturing and process issues
  • Support tooling selection, fixture design, process validation, and new product launches
  • Troubleshoot machining and production challenges related to quality, cycle times, and equipment performance
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation including process sheets, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
  • Assist with capital equipment projects, equipment upgrades, and facility improvements
  • Work closely with vendors and suppliers to support manufacturing operations and process improvements
  • Analyze production and quality data to identify trends and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, customer specifications, and company quality requirements
  • Train and support operators and technicians on updated manufacturing processes and best practices


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field required


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Manufacturing engineering experience in a machining or industrial manufacturing environment required
  • Experience with CNC machining processes, tooling, fixtures, and metal manufacturing preferred
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings
  • Experience with process improvement, root cause analysis, and problem-solving techniques
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing data analysis preferred
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across multiple departments
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting ability
  • Comfortable working on the manufacturing floor and supporting production operations directly
