HiFyve is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer!
Salary: $65K - $90K+/annually (depending on experience)
Shift: Day Shift (6am - 3pm)
Location: Marinette County, WI
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support and improve manufacturing processes for precision machined components in a heavy industrial environment
- Develop and optimize CNC machining, assembly, and production processes to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput
- Analyze production workflows and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and waste
- Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve manufacturing and process issues
- Support tooling selection, fixture design, process validation, and new product launches
- Troubleshoot machining and production challenges related to quality, cycle times, and equipment performance
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation including process sheets, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
- Assist with capital equipment projects, equipment upgrades, and facility improvements
- Work closely with vendors and suppliers to support manufacturing operations and process improvements
- Analyze production and quality data to identify trends and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, customer specifications, and company quality requirements
- Train and support operators and technicians on updated manufacturing processes and best practices
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Manufacturing engineering experience in a machining or industrial manufacturing environment required
- Experience with CNC machining processes, tooling, fixtures, and metal manufacturing preferred
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings
- Experience with process improvement, root cause analysis, and problem-solving techniques
- Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing data analysis preferred
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across multiple departments
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting ability
- Comfortable working on the manufacturing floor and supporting production operations directly
