HiFyve is hiring a Corporate Process Safety Engineer in the Chemical Manufacturing industry in West Chester, Ohio!

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 + up to 15% annual bonus

Shift: Full-Time, Exempt

Location: West Chester, OH (Cincinnati area or willing to relocate)

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and improve the company's Process Safety Management (PSM) program.
• Facilitate Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) and manage Process Safety Information (PSI).
• Develop process safety strategies, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support mechanical integrity, audits, and risk reduction projects.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, and EHS teams to promote a strong safety culture.
• Develop process safety training and corporate documentation.
• Travel up to 30% to support manufacturing sites in Ohio, Houston, TX, and occasional visits to NJ.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Advanced coursework in process safety or engineering is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 7–10+ years of Process Safety experience in chemical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA PSM and Process Safety principles.
• Experience with continuous improvement (Kaizen, PDCA, Six Sigma, etc.).
• Experience with PHAs, PSI, and Mechanical Integrity programs.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
• Experience with Responsible Care® or ISO management systems preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
