HiFyve is hiring for a Maintenance Manager in the food and beverage industry in St. Paul, MN!

Salary: $130–$145K/yr with a 10% bonus

Day Shift 5:30 AM-2:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a fully capable maintenance team; manage recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance.
  • Maintain all equipment to vendor standards and ensure compliance with mechanical and electrical codes.
  • Establish departmental objectives, performance standards, and maintenance policies/procedures.
  • Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and support equipment reliability.
  • Serve as the escalation point for emergency maintenance issues.
  • Work closely with engineering and management to evaluate, modify, or replace equipment to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Analyze proposals and cost studies for new equipment and make recommendations.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance supplies.
  • Control costs related to repairs, utilities, pretreatment, and maintenance budgets; may contribute to capital planning.
  • Keep leadership informed of equipment and facility performance issues.
  • Stay current with regulatory requirements and emerging industry practices.
  • Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks to optimize preventive and repair work while minimizing unnecessary overtime.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of maintenance leadership in a manufacturing environment (food, beverage, or aseptic processing preferred).
  • 3+ years supervising a maintenance team with a strong safety focus.
  • Proficiency with CMMS for work orders, asset management, and maintenance optimization.
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with high-temp sterilization and aseptic packaging technologies is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, preventive maintenance, reliability practices, and facility equipment.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, adapt to operational changes, and lead others through change.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Experience with ammonia and boilers would be a plus!
