Salary: $75-95K+/yr

Shift: 1st Shift M-F

Location: St. Louis, MO

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, modify, and maintain manufacturing processes and equipment under the direction of the VP of Engineering.
  • Support the production department by analyzing manufacturing processes and identifying root causes of issues.
  • Provide analysis and direction to resolve quality and process control problems in existing production.
  • Introduce new processes to improve product quality and production efficiency.
  • Develop, implement, and analyze technical processes and systems to enhance manufacturing operations.
  • Improve and document existing processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and resolve manufacturing problems to maintain smooth operations.
  • Recommend process improvements to maximize efficiency in personnel and space utilization.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to support production and maintenance teams.
  • Set up machines, assist with equipment failure resolution, and address product specification deviations.
  • Inspect parts during production to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Support company goals and maintain alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Maintain professional conduct when working with leadership, colleagues, and production personnel.
  • Oversee care and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, facilities, and departmental office equipment.
  • Maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external business contacts.
  • Handle confidential information related to manufacturing processes, patents, and company data in accordance with company policies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Minimum of a four-year degree in an engineering discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Experience in metal fabrication and welded assemblies preferred.
  • Strong understanding of engineering theory and manufacturing techniques.
  • Familiarity with standard manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to develop and maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Effective time and material management to ensure on-time delivery of quality products.
  • Strong analytical and independent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with diverse teams.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across departments and with customers.
