HiFyve is hiring a Metrology Engineer in the Manufacturing industry in St. Louis, Missouri!

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year

Shift: Days, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Location: St. Louis, MO

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise the inspection of incoming materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Assist in the start-up of shifts and new part production, and manage weld verification processes.
• Address customer needs by handling first part approvals, performing statistical analysis, and resolving quality issues.
• Evaluate, purchase, and maintain quality tools for inspection, including writing instructions and training others in their use.
• Participate in new project reviews to determine inspection requirements, acquire necessary tooling, and manage first article approvals.
• Maintain quality document control by ensuring floor part drawings and quality documents are updated with the latest revisions.

Education Requirements

• Professional degree or training in Quality requirements and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• 2 to 5 years of experience in Quality Management

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of Quality Management principles, SPC, and quality control tools.
• Ability to develop and maintain accurate records and reports.
• Proficient in problem-solving and analyzing process issues independently.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to maintain effective business relationships with other departments and customers.
