Sales Engineer – Oilfield Chemicals
Location: Midland, TX
Compensation: $100,000 base + commissions (2%–5% of gross profit) + full benefits
Are you a technically minded sales professional with experience in the oil & gas industry?
Our client is expanding, and we’re seeking a Sales Engineer to help grow our presence across the Permian Basin.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and grow business for our client's oilfield chemical products and services
- Build relationships with production, completions, and EOR teams across the region
- Provide technical support around fracking, frack hit mitigation, and enhanced oil recovery
- Partner with operations and engineering teams to ensure optimal chemical performance and customer success
- Manage accounts, track opportunities, and hit revenue goals
What We’re Looking For
- Background in Chemical Engineering or Reservoir/Petroleum Engineering
- Experience in oil & gas production, completions, or chemical sales
- Knowledge of EOR and fracking operations
- Strong relationship-building and technical sales skills
- Proven success driving multi-million-dollar sales
