Senior Production Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced oil and natural gas production engineer to join our team. This

position is headquartered in our Buckhannon, WV office and will be required to remote field

operations in WV, PA, Ky, TN, and VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working

closely with field operations to optimize production, provide engineering support, and ensure

compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Work directly with well operators and other field personnel to provide troubleshooting support
• 2. Monitor well performance using available real-time data, field estimates, etc.
• 3. Perform artificial lift analysis/optimization on producing wells
• 4. Identify new artificial lift candidates
• 5. Recommend, build AFEs, and create procedures for all workovers including but not limited to
• well clean outs, tubing installs or repairs, rod pump installations, plunger lift installation, etc.
• 6. Perform economic evaluation on production projects as needed
• 7. Assist in tracking and monitoring lease operating expenses and budgeting discussions
• 8. Field work mandatory
• 9. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• 1. Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in Engineering; Petroleum preferred
• 2. 10+ years conventional field experience required; Appalachian Basin preferred
• 3. Proficiency in utilizing GIS tools, Excel, PowerPoint, and database systems.
• 4. Excellent verbal & written communication & reporting skills required
• 5. Strong verbal & written communication & reporting skills required
• 6. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with large datasets.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1. Experience with Echometer fluid level surveys
• 2. Familiarity with reservoir engineering concepts and ARIES ® petroleum economics software
