KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, JOB DUTIES, and COMPETENCIES:
- Collaborate with Customers', Operations, and Engineering personnel to ensure the fulfillment of customer requirements.
- Provide support for the development, implementation, and management of corporate strategies concerning Measurlink and measurement strategies.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and management of corporate strategies for process documentation, including Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Inspection Plans.
- Hold the authority to halt shipments and production to address and rectify quality issues.
- Assist in developing process documentation, including Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Inspection Plans.
- Support data collection for Gage R&R, MSA, Bias/linearity/stability studies.
- Proficient in programming CMMs and Measurlink software.
- Interpret and apply Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Provide support for calibration activities as required.
QUALIFICATIONS and EDUCATION:
- Possess an Associates or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Equivalent work experience in quality will be considered if a college degree is not held.
- Strongly prefer experience working with a certified quality management system.
- Demonstrated track record of fostering continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
- Preferred experience in the automotive and/or machining industries.
- Prefer IATF 16949 & AIAG Core Tools training.
- Exceptional mechanical aptitude and robust problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Preferred experience in CMM programming
