Job Opportunity: Mid-Level or Senior Litigation Attorney – Tort Litigation Group (Dallas, TX)


A leading law firm in Dallas is seeking a mid-level or senior litigation attorney to join its highly respected Tort Litigation Group, which represents sophisticated clients across a variety of industries in litigation, investigations, and emergency response. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants to take on a client-facing role, supervise associates, and further their career as part of a collaborative and talented team of legal professionals.

The position also provides the chance to work on complex commercial matters, with cases in federal and state courts as well as arbitration. Docket management experience is required, but portable business is not necessary.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Representing high-end clients in litigation, investigations, and emergency response.
  • Handling all aspects of litigation, including drafting legal documents, managing discovery, preparing deposition summaries, and presenting trial exhibits.
  • Supervising associate attorneys while maintaining a forward-facing role with clients.
  • Managing complex dockets and providing monthly case updates to supervising attorneys.
  • Collaborating with a team led by one of the most recognizable trial lawyers in the region.
  • Assisting with administrative responsibilities as needed.
  • Opportunity to contribute to complex commercial litigation matters.


What We’re Looking For:


  • Education & Bar Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
  • Experience & Skills:
  • At least 5 years of litigation experience, including handling all aspects of discovery.
  • Proven ability to work independently while managing a litigation docket effectively.
  • Experience in federal and state courts, as well as arbitration.
  • Excellent drafting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, court personnel, colleagues, and third parties.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and legal practice management software (e.g., iManage).
  • Personal Attributes:
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage electronic and hardcopy case files.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, follow-through, and time management.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide superior client service while balancing priorities and meeting deadlines.
