Compensation: $280,000 - $350,000

About the Opportunity:

A nationally respected law firm is expanding its New York litigation practice and seeking a Business & Commercial Litigation Associate to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level associate with 3–6 years of experience in complex commercial litigation to gain trial exposure, build industry-specific expertise, and work alongside a senior partner with a proven track record in financial, securities, and corporate disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all phases of complex business litigation in federal, state, and international forums
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements
• Conduct legal research and client interviews
• Assist with trial preparation and courtroom appearances
• Engage with matters involving financial products, corporate governance, trade secrets, class actions, and white-collar defense

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York Bar in good standing
• 3–6 years of litigation experience at a law firm or similar environment
• Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
• Background in financial disputes, securities, or corporate litigation preferred
