Commercial Litigation Associate

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Salary Range: $240,000 – $290,000 (depending on experience)

A nationally integrated litigation team is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Los Angeles office. The practice focuses on complex business disputes for institutional clients, developers, insurers, and middle-market companies. This is not a volume shop. Associates are given meaningful case responsibility, direct client interaction, and opportunities to contribute to trial strategy.

The group handles a steady pipeline of matters involving breach of contract, business torts, professional liability, insurance-driven litigation, and commercial real estate disputes. Many matters involve arbitration under AAA or JAMS, as well as multi-party claims involving sophisticated commercial actors.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage complex discovery and dispositive motions
• Represent clients in business tort, contract, and real estate litigation
• Prepare cases for trial or arbitration alongside senior litigators
• Coordinate with insurance and coverage teams on litigation strategy
• Work closely with developers, carriers, and institutional clients

What We’re Looking For:

• 3 to 6 years of commercial litigation experience
• Strong writing, research, and courtroom skills
• Experience handling complex discovery and motion practice
• California Bar admission required
• Prior exposure to arbitration, construction, or insurance-related disputes is a plus
