Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Construction Litigation Attorney to join our team on a hybrid schedule. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction law, particularly in managing disputes related to construction projects, breach of contract, insurance coverage, and other related areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in complex construction litigation matters, including trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
- Manage cases involving breach of contract, payment disputes, construction defects, insurance claims, and related issues.
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and contracts.
- Provide legal counsel on project-related issues such as compliance, safety protocols, and risk management.
- Collaborate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel throughout all stages of litigation.
- Participate in firm initiatives, such as business development and continuing legal education.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice in California.
- 4+ years of experience in construction litigation.
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work setting.
- Experience in arbitration, mediation, and trial preparation is highly desirable.
