Labor & Employment Associate

Location: Houston, TX

Salary Range: $260,000 – $365,000

A nationally recognized labor and employment group is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Houston office. This role is ideal for attorneys with a strong litigation foundation who want to focus on employer-side representation across a variety of industries, including energy, oil and gas, and technology.

The team handles a broad range of matters including wage and hour disputes, class and collective actions, discrimination claims, restrictive covenant enforcement, trade secret defense, and administrative agency investigations. Attorneys in this group work closely with senior leadership, HR teams, and in-house counsel to advise on employment risk and workplace strategy.

What We're Looking For:

• 3 to 5 years of employment litigation experience
• Experience handling wage and hour claims, discrimination cases, or trade secret disputes
• Texas Bar admission required
• Strong writing, advocacy, and client communication skills
• Background in representing employers in state and federal court preferred
