Talduo is hiring a System Engineer II for a full-time opportunity with an IT consulting company. This role is hybrid in North Scottsdale.
The Systems Engineer II provides technical support, troubleshooting, and network administration for multiple client environments in a managed services setting. This role involves maintaining network infrastructure, resolving hardware and software issues, and implementing system upgrades to ensure optimal performance.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve second-level issues related to networks, servers, storage, and software.
- Perform scheduled and ad-hoc network maintenance, including backups, security updates, and system monitoring.
- Act as an internal Network Administrator for managed service clients, ensuring system stability and efficiency.
- Implement updates, upgrades, and network improvements while documenting configurations and changes.
- Provide emergency response for critical system failures.
- Execute virtualization, storage, and server projects across multiple client environments.
- Collaborate with Tier 3 engineers to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Deliver onsite and remote support while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Qualifications:

Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience

Experience Level: 5+ years providing onsite and remote support for system network infrastructure equipment and application software OR 4 years installing, upgrading, troubleshooting and repairing server, storage and network infrastructure in a corporate environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Azure, Entra, Intune, and Autopilot.
- Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, and storage solutions.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, SQL Server, Exchange, and business continuity solutions.
- Knowledge of firewalls, routers, switches, and LAN/WAN/Wireless networking.

Certifications: Industry certifications (Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, etc.) preferred or willingness to obtain.

Other Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. Government security clearance is a plus.
