Job description *

The General Laborer at our hops processing facility plays a crucial role in the daily operations of our plant. This position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient processing of hops. The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking, and able to perform physical labor in various conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Processing Operations:

Assist in the receiving, sorting, and processing of hops.

Operate machinery and equipment used in the hops processing.

Monitor processing lines to ensure the quality and efficiency of operations.

Quality Control:

Inspect hops for quality and remove any defective products.

Report any issues with the quality of hops to the supervisor.

Equipment Maintenance:

Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of processing equipment.

Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.

Safety and Sanitation:

Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the processing areas.

Participate in sanitation activities to keep the facility in compliance with health regulations.

General Duties:

Load and unload materials and products.

Assist with inventory management, including counting and tracking hops.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support the overall operations of the facility.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a manufacturing or processing environment is preferred.

Ability to operate machinery and perform physical labor.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work in various weather conditions.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.

Comfortable working in an environment with strong odors and varying temperatures.
