Pay Rate: $79 - $82/hr

Location: Remote (PST hours preferred)

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Localization Project Manager to support the delivery of localized digital content across global customer-facing platforms and eCommerce experiences. In this role, you will manage end-to-end localization projects, ensuring content is accurately translated, culturally relevant, and delivered on schedule across multiple international markets.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized project manager with experience coordinating global teams, language specialists, and localization vendors. You possess a strong understanding of localization best practices, sensitivity to cultural nuances, and the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously. Native-level fluency in a second language is preferred.


What You'll Do:

· Lead localization projects supporting digital content, campaigns, engineering releases, and new product initiatives across global markets

· Manage the production and delivery of localized marketing and editorial content across multiple languages and regions

· Partner with editorial teams, business stakeholders, localization specialists, and vendors to ensure content is relevant, culturally appropriate, and aligned with brand standards

· Coordinate localization efforts for customer-facing digital experiences, eCommerce platforms, and global content programs

· Utilize translation management systems and localization tools to manage workflows, translation requests, approvals, and delivery schedules

· Manage the ingestion and maintenance of localized copy across internal and vendor content management systems

· Oversee localization activities across up to 40 languages, ensuring linguistic accuracy, consistency, and quality

· Serve as the primary point of contact for urgent localization requests and escalations from regional teams

· Coordinate Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA) efforts for campaigns, engineering releases, and product launches

· Build and maintain localization reporting, project tracking, and operational metrics

· Participate in project handoffs, stakeholder reviews, and process improvement initiatives

· Partner with localization project and program managers globally to establish consistent workflows, standards, and best practices


What You Bring:

· 5+ years of localization project management experience in digital content, software, product, eCommerce, or marketing environments

· Proven experience managing multiple concurrent localization projects from concept through delivery

· Strong understanding of localization, internationalization, and globalization best practices

· Experience working with global teams, language specialists, and localization vendors across multiple regions and time zones

· Experience managing content across translation management systems, CMS platforms, and localization tools

· Strong understanding of cultural nuances and regional content adaptation requirements

· Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage complex project portfolios

· Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills

· Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with minimal supervision

· Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality localized content

· Experience managing linguistic issues, translation reviews, and localization quality concerns across multiple languages


Bonus Points If You Have:

· Native-level fluency in a second language

· Experience supporting eCommerce or digital marketplace content

· Familiarity with WorldServer or similar translation management systems

· Experience with Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA) processes

· Project Management certification or formal PM training

· Experience supporting product launches, engineering releases, or large-scale global marketing campaigns
