Credentialed School Nurse- Substitute

$25-35/hr

This is a temporary substitute Credentialed School Nurse role providing on-site medical support and student health services at a public school, requiring both clinical nursing expertise and familiarity with school health protocols and reporting systems

Core Functions

• Signing off orders
• Creating ISHPs
• Writing Health Reports (School Nurse Health Reports)
• Case Management
• Contacting and/or faxing doctors
• Taking emergency/urgent calls
• Diabetic Care in-person (and/or taking diabetic calls)
• Documentation in Aeries of all interactions regarding the students
• Hand-off communication with the DSN

Qualifications:

• Requires a California School Nurse Services Credential and an active RN license.
• 2+ years of experience as a nurse or substitute nurse
