We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Global Payroll Specialist III to join our Global Operations team to manage payroll for our workers and clients domestically and internationally. Experience with domestic and international human resources, employment law and payroll are desired for this position. This person will partner with our Global Account Management and International teams to ensure accurate pay and invoicing while also using critical thinking skills to develop more efficient payroll and invoicing processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly, bi-weekly, and/or monthly domestic and international payroll for salary and hourly employees, ensuring the overall accuracy of employee data.
  • Schedule, prepare, open, balance, audit, close, and finalize various payroll cycles autonomously.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state and country employment laws and tax considerations relevant to payroll compliance.
  • Verify and reconcile complex pay, timekeeping, and expense reimbursement data from a variety of systems, following local laws and regulations.
  • Conduct research and analysis to lead department initiatives and special projects.
  • Establish and maintain close relationships with our Global Account Management and International teams, acting as an expert for any payroll inquiries.
  • Independently interpret and communicate payroll policies/procedures to employees of all levels.
  • Complete payments to partners/vendors by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
  • Create and send invoices to clients monthly using FX conversions and agreed upon mark-up rates.
  • Lead payroll and related process audits and QA.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement global payroll strategies.
  • Exercise independent judgment and strong critical thinking on all payroll related matters with minimal supervision.
  • Provide support/mentorship to all levels of Payroll Specialists in the absence of (or in-addition to) leadership.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 4+ years of payroll and/or customer service experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, HR or Business Administration
  • CPP Certification preferred
  • International business/human resources experience preferred
  • Experience utilizing payroll processing, time keeping, HR and/or accounting systems
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and proven multi-tasking ability.
  • Self-starter with a high work ethic who can work on their own and meet required deadlines.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills in a professional environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Office 365

 

Salary & Benefits

This position offers full-time benefits, including a comprehensive benefits package. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.

Additional compensation may be earned by exceeding sales and service goals.
