Logistics Specialist ($28/hr) – Temp-to-Hire

As a Logistics Specialist, you’ll play a key role in the full order-to-cash lifecycle, supporting inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving operations, ERP data integrity, and coordination with cross-functional teams—particularly Sales and Quality. What You’ll Do
- Manage the full order-to-cash process, including order processing, shipping, receiving, inventory control, and field inventory management
- Ensure daily accuracy and integrity of ERP transactions (QAD preferred)
- Process inbound and outbound inventory transactions with speed and precision
- Prioritize daily workload to meet carrier pickup times and business-critical deadlines
- Partner closely with Sales to maintain accurate field inventory records and communicate order status
- Support and adhere to all applicable quality systems, regulatory standards, and internal procedures
- Identify and escalate potential compliance or quality concerns, with authority to hold product or documentation when required
Compliance & Quality Focus
- Perform all responsibilities in alignment with global regulatory requirements and quality system standards
- Report any potential non-compliance related to FDA QSRs, ISO standards, or other applicable regulations to Quality and Regulatory teams
- Conduct all business activities with integrity, professionalism, and adherence to ethical standards and codes of conduct
What You Bring
- High School Diploma required
- Experience in logistics, inventory management, order processing, or customer service environments
- ERP experience strongly preferred (QAD a plus)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and enterprise systems
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to maintain data accuracy and transactional integrity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong relationship-building skills and comfort collaborating with diverse, cross-functional teams
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with regulated environments and standards such as ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820, EU MDR, or ISO 14971
- Understanding of ERP transactional accounting flows, including receipts, inventory adjustments, revenue, and COGS
- Medical device industry experience is strongly preferred
