About the Role
We are looking for a YouTube Channel Operations Assistant to support the growth and day-to-day management of client Developer YouTube channels.
This is a hands-on role for someone who has actually run YouTube channels and understands that successful YouTube content is about much more than uploading videos. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented, but most importantly, will understand YouTube optimization, audience engagement, thumbnails, headers, and content discoverability. You will work closely with the YouTube Channel Manager and Channel Strategist to optimize video content, improve audience engagement, maintain an organized publishing workflow, and find new ways to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the channels.
Because the content is highly technical, experience working with or optimizing complex technical content is highly valuable. You do not need to be a technical expert, but you should be comfortable working with complicated subject matter and finding ways to make it accessible and compelling to a YouTube audience.
