Job Title: Front office Receptionist
Location: San Francisco, CA 94103 (Onsite – Local SF candidates within commuting distance)
Pay Rate: $26–28/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (
Duration: 3 months (possible extension but no guaranteed)
About The Role
We are looking for a reliable, professional, and friendly Receptionist to support our San Francisco headquarters.
This role is the front-of-house face of the office and requires someone dependable, polished, and able to follow direction while maintaining a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
This is a fully onsite role and requires consistent attendance, professionalism, and strong communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors, guests, and employees in a professional and friendly manner
- Serve as the front desk point of contact and represent the company positively
- Issue and track employee and visitor access badges
- Maintain the badge provisioning process and basic security procedures
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Receive vendors and help coordinate access when needed
- Assist with simple office coordination tasks (print station supplies, envelopes, basic office needs)
- Support light administrative tasks from the Workplace / People team as assigned
- Occasionally guide visitors to conference rooms when needed
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of receptionist, Front desk, Hospitality, Admin or customer-facing experience
- Able to hand out badges for guest etc
- Professional, reliable, and able to follow direction and complete assigned tasks
- Friendly, polished, and comfortable being the face of the office
- Experience or some understanding of basic office admin – checking print stations, making sure office supplies are not low etc.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have ability to take the train daily for onsite
- Basic Google Suite skills (Gmail, Calendar, Drive)
